Lee is a fifth generation chef and a seventh generation American. She has long enjoyed leadership roles and cevic and professional organizations locally and nationwide. Lee frequently writes on topics as diverse as corporate table manners and honeymoon travel for local and regional media. Her monthly column, 'In The Interest Of Others' highlights outstanding members of the community working hard to develop opportunities for persons unlike themselves in need of assistance.
Her highly regarded how-to book on personal entertaining, 'Some Assembly Required' is distributed nationwide by Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
Lee greatly enjoys her role in community service. She is on the boards of directors of six hardworking nonprofit organizations. In December of 2008, Lee was awarded the GRACE AWARD for Distinguished Service in the nonprofit community by the National Restaurant Association.
